Homecoming Prayer

Oh! Sacred winds carry me back Home

to where my heart pulses rose red

by the rising heat of my womb and

the molten rivers of my blood

that floods

that floods

my Soul

wild and ancient with

rolling thunder tongues

echoing deep in the valleys of my bones

where storms move through pine needles

like breath through prayers beads

ripened pomegranate seeds,

spill,

soaked in ash and memory

I write

I speak

from this place

of remembering

my own hearth a flame

I proclaim!

I come back Home

I come back Home

into your rough and cedar smoked arms

kissed by your furred chin

your emerald stone eyes

I smile

at your luminous skin

my deep- time soul kin

My Home

My Home

And oh! the aching love for my children

The Light

The Sparks so bright

I will love you into the night

as long as the stars will live

You are my Home

My warmth

My nest

My Homecoming

My constant Becoming

Dreamed through at Imbolc gathering 2025
