The First God

The Cosmic Rose,

rose with the morning dawn

spilling light from the heavens onto what was to come forth,

to be born,

And She,

gathered herself from the dark womb of the living ground,

the ancient loam

the first bones

waking,

assembling their shape to a sound older than time

primordial,

territorial

forging through skin made of molten rock and fire

a thousand years rumbling,

tumbling,

deep thunder humming

She emerges!

with her breasts in her hands

her thighs

her hips

shifting and sifting

mountains of sand

She rises!

with the moon in her womb

birthing waters open

carving the land and filling the oceans

dreaming the wild earth into being

Her scripture is written in

the riverbeds,

the tree roots, the wild fruits

the oak bark and the meadowlark

the hills crest and robin’s nest

Eagle’s cry and the Open Sky!

the fox’s trail and the autumn harvest gales

Oh! smell the sweet pine cone and the winds that moan

in whale song,

She belongs,

We belong,

to Her

Woman of the Earth

She is Creator

She is the First and Final Mother

The Original Body

The First God

Dreamed and forged at Imbolc 2026, through the remembrance I carry of the Goddess, the First God - and also inspired by dear sister Tanya who carries this remembrance too
