Wedge-tail Eagle Woman

Wedge‑tail Eagle Woman arrives thunder‑forged, and forest born, her wings carrying the sound of storm and sky. She is the great visionary — the one who sees the wider landscape, the long arc, and the truth beyond the immediate moment. Her heart is vast, her foresight clear, her presence unmistakably skyward.

She strips the bones clean, consuming what is no longer needed and metabolising it into what must come next. She teaches the art of necessary endings, of clearing the path for renewal. Her companionship is for those standing at significant thresholds — the brave crossings, the moments that require courage, clarity, and a willingness to rise.

She is the Mother in her full force: full‑moon radiance, midday‑sun power, a soaring height that never loses connection to the earth. Wedge‑tail Eagle Woman knows how to ascend without abandoning the ground, how to hold both the vast sky and the deep soil in one body.

She comes to remind us that bravery is a practice, vision is a gift, and rising is a sacred act.

Born from the Clay

She was birthed from the clay

the womb of the mountain

through the vulva of the muddy cave

Cradled in the early light of dawn

She was kissed by the winding rivers

making her way down to that sacred place

beneath the old Huon pines, her body embraced

She rose from the earth

the ground, her alter

Roots entangled with roots

She kneels and does not faulter

In the dirt, the leaves and the dripping moss

Tears swell in her eyes and between her thighs

as she prays

as she prays

in this place

When the forests were the only cathedrals

Where the forests were the only cathedrals

And Her heart beckons for the velvet sky

The Morning Star

And it’s Circle of Light

She can hear their Call, their ancient songs

this is where her soul belongs

And one by one

goldened brown feathers

sprout from her bronzed starry skin

Arms stretched out

Wide winged and

singing to the wind

She crouches

She emerges

from her nest

made of blood and mud

roses and bones

Her treehouse home

Her forest throne

She draws a breath, into her belly deep

Her body arises broad and full

And she leaps,

leaps up through the canopy

with  graceful thunder wings

Oh she is Wedgetail Eagle Woman!

Mother of the Sky

Mother of the Earth

Mother of All

Her womb contains the universe

Where souls and stars and mountains are made

She flies across all Time

Her heart never afraid

To dive into and traverse all terrains

Below, above and centre,

she remains

Golden feathered Mother of the Sky

Born from the clay

Hatched by the Morning Star

Oh! She knows The Way

Into the temple where both sorrow and joy lies

The forest her one and only cathedral

She is Woman

She is Sacred

She is Wedgetail Eagle

A Thousand Thresholds Crossed

She nests between the midnight sky

Waiting for the moment to cross the next threshold,

Calling Her

into the Great Mystery of Her Magic

Her deeper Wilder Self

Stars spilling tears onto the soil where she lay, with

the bones and stones of the Ancestors

“Come what May!” She calls skyward

“Come what May!” She sings,

like the first woman whoever stood and howled into the dark

She witnesses the ancient cross over

of the twin moons above,

the same movement in Her blood

Red to Silver

Womb to Crown

One Who no longer births flesh -but

Vision! Truth! Legacy!

Yes! She is Mother, Daughter, Sister, Healer and Shape-shifter!

Prowling

Tracking

Weaving and walking

And flying her way into the depths

Where grief and love are one sacred flesh

She knows. She knows the way….and

Wise wolf shining full upon Her skin

Fairy Wren, Her soft spirit kin, resting on wing

OH! This Life, She flies with courage and intention

This Life , Her Cathedral

She. Is. Wedge-tail Eagle!
